Terms of Service

gRit (“gRit”, “we”, “us”) is a service of Devspeak S.A.S., a company incorporated in Colombia (address: Cll. 7D # 43A - 40, Piso 8, Medellín, Antioquia 050022, Colombia). You can reach us at info@devspeak.dev. These Terms govern your use of gRit's website, app and APIs (the “Service”). By signing in you accept them.

• You sign in with a GitHub or GitLab account. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for the activity under your account.
• One person per account. Keep your Git host account secure: gRit acts with the access that host grants it.

• gRit reads repository metadata (branches, commits, pull requests and tags) through the access you grant on your Git host (the gRit GitHub App installation or a GitLab authorization) to draw your canvas and keep it current.
• gRit writes to a repository (creates, renames or deletes a branch, merges, pushes a batch) only when you start that action and confirm it in the app. You are responsible for the changes you confirm.
• You can revoke gRit's access at any time on your Git host (uninstall the App or revoke the authorization) and delete your gRit account in Settings → Profile.

• Free has the limits shown on the pricing page. Pro is a paid subscription for one account, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown at checkout, taxes included where they apply.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments sells the subscription to you and handles payment, invoicing, sales tax and order questions under its own buyer terms. Your card details are handled by Dodo Payments and its payment processors, never by gRit.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. At checkout you confirm the automatic renewal and ask for Pro to start at once.
• We announce price changes by email at least 30 days in advance. They apply from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.

Do not use gRit for anything unlawful; do not try to reach other users' data or repositories; do not circumvent or reverse engineer the Service's protections; do not send automated load that degrades the Service for others; and do not use it to infringe anyone's rights. We may suspend accounts that break these rules, with notice where the law requires it.

14-day withdrawal with a full refund. Within 14 days of buying Pro, open Settings → Billing and choose Withdraw and refund. Your subscription ends at once, your account returns to the Free plan, and we refund that purchase in full to the payment method you used. We send you an email confirming the withdrawal.

• The 14 days run from the moment the subscription was created at checkout.
• Each account can withdraw once. A later Pro purchase on the same account can be cancelled but is not refunded through withdrawal.
• The refund is issued through Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. If it cannot be issued automatically, we process it by hand and email you; either way, within 30 days of your withdrawal at the latest.
• You can also ask for the withdrawal by writing to info@devspeak.dev within the 14 days from the email address on your account.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Billing. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for and then does not renew. Cancelling after the 14-day window does not refund the current period.

Deleting your account. Deleting your account cancels a paid subscription immediately, without a refund. If you are still within the 14 days, withdraw first and then delete the account.

Other cases. If we discontinue Pro, we refund the unused part of a prepaid period. Nothing in this policy limits a refund, withdrawal right or guarantee that the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country give you.

Your code and repository data remain yours. You grant us only the rights needed to run the Service for you: fetch, store snapshots, render, and perform the actions you confirm. gRit, its design and its software belong to Devspeak S.A.S..

We work to keep gRit available but do not promise uninterrupted service: maintenance and outages happen, and the app shows them. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue Pro, we refund the unused part of a prepaid period.

gRit is provided with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these Terms limits the guarantees and rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country.

Where the law allows it, and except for intent or gross negligence, our total liability to a business customer for any claim about the Service is limited to the fees that customer paid for gRit in the 12 months before the claim. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of your repositories; gRit is not a backup service for them.

You may stop using gRit and delete your account at any time. We may end your access after notice if you materially break these Terms. When an account is deleted we erase its data as described in the Privacy Policy. Amounts already paid are refunded only as section 6 states or as the law requires.

These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia, where Devspeak S.A.S. is established. Before any claim, please write to info@devspeak.dev so we can try to solve it together within 30 days. If we cannot, disputes will be heard by the competent courts of Medellín, Colombia. If you are a consumer, this choice does not take away the protection that the mandatory laws of your country of residence give you, including your right to bring a claim before the courts or authorities of that country where those laws allow it.

We post changes on this page with a new effective date and email account holders about material changes before they apply.
