Cookie and analytics policy

Version 2026-10-28 · Effective

Which cookies and similar technologies Devspeak S.A.S. uses in gRit, and how to change your choice. It complements the Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, keep information on your device in the same way. Some are needed for the site to work; others are optional, and we use those only if you agree.

2. The kinds we use

  • Strictly necessary (always on). They keep you signed in, keep the service secure and remember the choices you make, including your cookie choice. gRit cannot work without them, so they do not need your consent.
  • Analytics (only with your consent). Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, sets its cookies only after you accept them in the banner (“Accept analytics cookies”). They count visits and show how gRit is used. Google signals and ad personalization are off, and we use no advertising features. Until you choose, and if you choose “Reject”, these cookies are not set.
  • Visit statistics without cookies. gRit also counts visits with Umami, a tool we host ourselves. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.
  • We use no advertising cookies.

4. How to change your choice

  • Cookie settings. Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page to accept or reject analytics cookies at any time. If you withdraw consent, analytics stops from that moment and we delete the analytics cookies on our domain.
  • Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as “Reject” and do not load analytics, unless you later turn analytics on yourself in Cookie settings.
  • Your browser. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of gRit may stop working.

5. Pages run by others

Some pages you open from gRit are run by other companies and may set their own cookies under their own policies: the GitHub and GitLab sign-in and app installation pages, and the Dodo Payments checkout.

6. Changes

We publish any change on this page with a new version and date. If we add a new kind of optional cookie, we will ask for your consent before it is set.
